There's a place for your voice at Lacus Vocem.

Whether you've sung in choirs for years or you're looking to return after time away, we'd love to welcome you into our community. Our members come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, professions, and life experiences, but we all share one thing in common—a love of singing.

Who Can Join?

Lacus Vocem is open to all adults ages 18 and older. No audition is required. While previous choral experience is helpful, it is not required. We welcome singers who are willing to prepare, participate, and contribute to a positive and supportive rehearsal environment. If you are interested in joining us, you are welcome to attend one of our first rehearsals as a guest or complete the registration form below to participate in our upcoming concert.

Fall 2026 Concert: The Road Home

Registration for our fall concert is now open! Join Lacus Vocem for an inspiring evening of choral music celebrating the journey toward hope, belonging, and home.

Tech Rehearsal: 5:00–6:15 PM

Registration & Music

New this season: singers will purchase their own sheet music. Please complete the registration form by August 3 if you plan to participate in the fall concert. Completing the form by this deadline allows us to include you in our group music order and have your music ready for the first rehearsal. After completing the form, please Venmo your music fee to @Lacus-Vocem.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held in the Provo High School Choir Room.

Rehearsal Schedule
Saturdays, 9:00–10:30 AM
Beginning August 15, 2026
(No rehearsal on October 3)Regular attendance is encouraged. We understand that life is busy, and we want Lacus Vocem to be a place where you can participate even when your schedule is full. At a minimum, we ask that you attend three rehearsals and come prepared with your music learned.

Lacus Vocem uses Slack as our primary platform for member communication. Please connect with a member of choir leadership to get set up.

Concert Attire

Performance attire for this concert will be concert black. Singers are responsible for providing their own concert attire.
